Notes:
1. First Column:
Steel pipe nominal diameter; IPS steel pipes comply with ANSI B36.10 standard, and ISO steel pipe with ISO4200 standard, BS steel pipe with BS1387 andBS3601 standards, and JS steel pipe with JIS G3452 standard.
2. Second Column:
Steel pipe outside diameter;
Maximum allowable tolerance from the end: A. 3/4-3" OD: 0.030"(0.76mm); B. 4"-6"OD: 0.045"(1.14mm); C. 8" and more OD: 0.060"(0.52mm)
3. Third Column:
"A" size represents the gasket seat surface. Under proper sealing by gasket seat, this surface should be free from nicks, rolled marks and other flaws such as paint peeling, scratch, crack, rust, etc.
4. Fourth Column:
"B" size shows the width of groove. In the groove bottom, there should be not rust, crack, scratch and other flaws. Corner radius of the groove bottom is available in following sizes:
3/4" ~1-1/2" OD: 0.06R(1.52mmR);
2"~6" OD: 0.08R (2.03mmR);
8" OD and more: 0.05R(1.27mmR)
5. Fifth Column:
"t" size stands for the minimum allowable wall thickness of groove
6. Sixth Column:
"d" size is the depth of groove (for reference only). It must have the same depth in the whole periphery.
