Product Properties
According to the weight rate, the coating layer on the hot dipped galvalume steel plate consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon. The distinctive features of the steel plate lie in the erosion resistance and damp heat resistance. The erosion resistance of the galvalume steel plate is 2 to 6 times higher than an ordinary hot dipped galvanized steel plate. The damp heat resistance is more than 3 times higher than a traditional galvanized steel plate, and has a high temperature erosion resistance. The hot dipped galvanized steel plate will not fade even after being oxidized for a week (168 hours) at 315°C. Even at temperatures as high as 700°C, the hot dipped galvalume steel plate will be free of severe oxidation and scale formation, even though the highest working temperature for ordinary hot dipped galvanized steel plates is only 230°C. This hot dipped steel coil also has an excellent cold rolled steel performance, stability, weldability, and painting viscosity. Due to its attractive appearance, the steel plate can be used even if it is not painted.
