Laser cutting technology is also used for producing detailed and precise cuts on large format materials. This processing technology is used in various industries, such as manufacturing, advertising, and crafts, to create intricate designs and shapes on materials like acrylic, rubber, leather, fabric, foam, and paper.

Our large format CO₂ laser cutting machine is a professional tool for automatic engraving and cutting. It uses a 1064μm laser beam to etch and cut non-metal and semi-metal materials. The CO₂ laser cutter, driven by an electric gas laser, is capable of cutting various materials efficiently. The standard cutting size for this laser cutter is 1200*800mm, with customizable options for other dimensions.

Laser power: 60-180W (customized)
Positioning accuracy: ±0.01mm
Cutting area: 400*600mm, 900*600mm, 1300*800mm
Applications

This laser cutter is widely used in various industries, including fashion and apparel, leather goods, packaging and printing, advertising and decoration, interior design, acrylic products, artistic gifts, computer embroidery, wood products, and medium-density fiberboard cutting. It is perfect for precise cutting of non-metal sheets and other materials.

How Does CO₂ Laser Cutting Machine Work

The CO₂ laser cutting machine operates by using a controller (CNC or DSP) to drive the CO₂ gas laser tube to emit a beam. This beam is directed through reflectors to the cutting head, where a focusing lens converges the beam to a single point, achieving extremely high temperatures. High temperature causes the excess material to instantly vaporize into gas, which is then removed by an exhaust fan, creating a precise cut.

Configurations
Laser Cutting Head

The fully enclosed laser cutting head is height-adjustable and features a built-in flame retardant system, ensuring high-quality cutting results.

Control System

The control system features a clear, user friendly display and stable signal. It is simple to operate with both button and touch screen options, providing a fast response time.

Water Chiller

Our branded water chiller rapidly reduces the laser tube's temperature, extending its working time and overall lifespan.

FAQs

A CO₂ laser cutting machine works by directing a laser beam onto the material, exposing it to intense heat. Depending on the exposure time, the material may change color and produce contrast, or it may evaporate or burn away, resulting in precise cuts and engravings.

Regular maintenance includes checking the X, Y, and Z-axis limit switches to ensure they are functioning properly, and clearing out any cutting debris. Always monitor the laser cutting machine during operation to prevent the heated material from catching fire. Additionally, inspect the mirrors and lenses on the laser head to ensure they are free from dust and debris to avoid damaging the system.
