Operating principle of engine radiator
The radiator is the device where the cooling medium in all parts of engine is forced to circulate by a pump driven by the engine. The coolant absorbs heat generated by engine and emits it into the atmosphere. The heat release takes off 20% to 30% of all the heat of engine.
