The horizontal coil packaging line is designed for high-throughput packaging of wire rod coils and slit coils, including materials such as iron wire, stainless steel, low-carbon steel, high-carbon steel, galvanized wire, copper strip, copper wire, and aluminum strip. Equipped with two infeed positions and two integrated wrapping machines, the wire rod coil packaging system doubles operation efficiency, making it ideal for manufacturers with high output requirements.
The wire coil wrapping supports manual feeding and is equipped with a fully automated system that supports manual or automated loading (via AGV, forklift, or overhead crane) based on the production setup. Once loaded, coils are rotated 90 degrees to align them for wrapping, ensuring proper orientation for efficient through-the-eye packaging. It then performs automated gripping and wrapping, supporting various materials such as woven tape, PE film, and kraft paper. After wrapping, coils are automatically weighed and labeled, with label content fully customizable to meet customer or regulatory requirements. All label data is uploaded in real time to the customer’s ERP or MES system, enabling centralized data sharing and traceability. Finally, it supports specification-based storage an palletizing, organizing finished products by size or batch to improve downstream logistics.
