Sucker Rod
Pump rod/ Pump sucker/ Drill pipe
The sucker rod is an important component of sucker rod pumping units as it connects to the polished rod at the top, and to the oil well pump at the bottom. In the oil extraction process, the sucker rod string transfers the power from the surface to downhole pump.
Our sucker rod is manufactured according to API Spec 11B Standards. The length of a single sucker rod is 7.6 or 8 meters. It is made of high-carbon steel with a hard chromium plated surface. The sucker rods are connected to each other by female couplings in order to achieve a maximum piston like effect in the underground oil layer. The oil is pumped through a reciprocating motion.
